When the call comes about Mom or Dad, your family already has a plan.

Kinplan helps you and your siblings build your parents' care plan now: their health, their paperwork, their money, and where they'd want to go. When something happens, one tap puts it in motion.

Founding members pay $39 for the first year. No charge until launch.

Dad is in the hospital

✓
Mike, Jen, and you were alerted

Mike heads to the hospital. Jen calls his pastor.

✓
Hospital packet sent

Meds, allergies, blood thinner, and his healthcare proxy.

✓
Questions to ask are ready

Starting with: is he admitted, or under observation?

✓
Rehab options lined up

Your family's first choice, already toured.

Most families plan for this in a hospital hallway.

About 70% of people over 65 will need help with daily living at some point. Very few families have talked about what that looks like.

Medicare doesn't pay for daily care

Help with bathing, dressing, and living safely at home or in assisted living is mostly paid by families.

Discharge comes fast

Families often get a day or two of notice to decide where a parent goes next, and which places have room.

The paperwork is scattered

Medications, insurance cards, power of attorney, account logins: spread across drawers, inboxes, and siblings.

How it works

A living plan your whole family keeps up together, with your parent's voice in it.

  1. 1

    Build the plan together

Log medications, doctors, insurance, and legal documents. Your parent records their own wishes in plain language. Siblings take on roles.

  2. 2

Choose the places ahead of time

Tour assisted living and rehab options while there's time. Log costs, notes, and whether they accept Medicaid. Rank a first choice and a backup.

  3. 3

Get it done with the right people

Every to-do connects to someone who can finish it: an elder law attorney, a financial advisor, a free Medicare counselor, or your own.

  4. 4

    Keep it current

Kinplan reminds you when something goes stale: an old medication list, open enrollment, a document that needs updating.

  5. 5

    One tap when it happens

Your family is alerted with their roles, the hospital gets what it needs, and your next steps are waiting.

Our promises

You're trusting us with your parent's health and money. Here's how we treat that.

We never sell your data

Not to advertisers, insurers, or facilities. Your plan belongs to your family.

No kickbacks from facilities

Senior living referral services are usually paid by the facilities. We're paid by families, so our only job is your parent.

You decide who sees what

Invite siblings with their own permissions. Every view and change is logged, so nothing happens quietly.

Built to healthcare standards

Encrypted storage and infrastructure that supports HIPAA-level safeguards, from day one.

Questions

Does my parent need to use it?

No. Adult children can build and run the whole plan. Parents who want to can add their own wishes and take the lessons written for them, with larger text.

Is this medical, legal, or financial advice?

No. Kinplan organizes your plan and teaches the basics. When you need advice, it connects you with licensed professionals, or free counselors when they fit.

What if my parent doesn't have much money?

The plan works the same way. For families with limited savings, Kinplan points you to Medicaid, Medicare savings programs, and free local help instead of paid services.

When does it launch?

We're opening to founding members in small groups. We'll email you when your spot is ready.
